Welcome!
My name is Sonja Hunter and I am your child's 4th grade reading and social studies teacher this year. This will be my tenth year teaching and my third year teaching at DACS. Each nine weeks I will share what your child will be learning in reading and social studies. Students will start the day in their homeroom and will switch daily. This website is designed so that you will be able to follow the North Carolina Grade 5 Course of Study Standards in reading and social studies.
The mission of Dillard Academy Charter School is to positively provide a safe and quality education with high expectations so that we can excel and grow. I am excited about this school year. If you have any questions please feel free to contact me.
