Empowering Inclusive Development, the DILG way!
This five-day Training of Trainers is hosted by the Bureau of Local Government Development (BLGD) to equip DILG Regional GAD and CDP Focal Persons with the appropriate sensitivity and competencies to guide Local Government Units (LGUs) in mainstreaming Gender Equality, Disability, and Social Inclusion (GEDSI) into their Comprehensive Development Plans (CDPs). Participants will learn about GEDSI mandates, principles, and practical integration strategies, empowering them to serve as key coaches and technical assistance providers, through discussions, workshops, and experiential learning sessions. This training is a crucial step towards fostering more inclusive and socially protective local governance across the Philippines, ensuring that no one is left behind.
