The USTADI Leadership toolkit is a curated set of resources, designed based on the findings from a baseline study and literature review, that aims to provide practical information and guidance on specific focus areas for Education Officers (EOs) in their support of school leaders.
The toolkit lays out a practical guided structure and provides instructions, scenarios, and case studies on specifically identified topics as guides on how EOs may address or tackle specific issues.
The primary audience for the toolkit is Education Officers (EOs), specifically those that provide support to school leaders; Quality Assurance and Curriculum Support Officers. The toolkit may also be of interest to a range of stakeholders such as the Teachers Service Commission Directors, Ministry of Education County Education Directors and others within the education space that support EOs.
This is a set of carefully curated guidelines designed to enhance the capabilities of field Education Officers and Curriculum Support Officers in their work supporting school teams to improve their teaching practice and enrich the educational experience for both educators and learners.
This is a collection of diverse knowledge sources and reference that have thoughtfully informed the development of the USTADI toolkit.
The USTADI toolkit is the fruit of collaborative efforts with our partners, public schools, Education Officers, Curriculum Support Officers, and government organizations. This extensive collaboration has harnessed a wealth of empirical evidence and real-world insights from the field, which are available here.
This toolkit has been co-created with Machakos County Govt and is a collaboration between Teachers Service Commission (TSC), the Ministry of Education (MoE) and Dignitas, working with a Technical Working Group of 14 officers (Sub-County Directors, MoE Sub-County Quality Assurance and County TSC and MoE)
