Emma has worked in education over the past 18 years and is a NZ Registered Teacher. She started her career working in Early Childhood Education, then moved into the Primary Sector, where she continued to develop her passion for integrating technology, that positively impacts learning.  

Emma is the Director of Digital Learning PLD. She facilitates effective and engaging professional learning, supporting the development of digital fluency, as well as the effective integration of digital tools across the curriculum. 

Emma is MOE Accredited to deliver Centrally Funded PLD, an Apple Professional Learning Specialist and a Google Certified Educator. She has a passion for providing meaningful learning experiences and enjoys working in a collaborative manner to source useful resources and practical ideas, using the best platform/tools. 

Emma has a kind, warm manner, is flexible and easy to work with. She takes pride in everything she does, building strong relationships, being adaptive, creative, problem solving and managing her time effectively. 

Emma has presented at a number of conferences. Emma supports schools with Strategic Planning, she has gained a deep understanding of pedagogy that drives student-centred learning. She is organised, reflective and uses her initiative with confidence.
