All collections have a limited quantity available before they are sold out. In most cases, collections will not return once supplies have run out, but some exceptions may apply.
There is a timer displayed on each collection page that shows how long the promotion is available; however, this timer isn't necessarily an indicator that the collection will last the full duration.
"Limited Availability" Key quantity indicators are displayed when a collection is depleting quickly or running out of keys soon.
Yes, you can upgrade your purchase from your "Purchase History" while the collection is still active (for most collections), or within 28 days from the start of any free game promotions! (image 1 & 2). You can also update from the specific collection page, while the collection is still active (image 3)
You can also see how much time is remaining on your upgrade from your Purchase History, click the purchase you want to upgrade, then choose "Upgrade This Purchase" to proceed.
As a best practice, all Steam keys have a 90-day redemption window from when the collection launches (not from the date of purchase). After that, unredeemed and unrevealed keys will expire and be returned to the developer. You will keep any keys redeemed to your Steam account! You can review the exact expiration date in your Game Library after the purchase.
FREE GAME GIVEAWAYS have a 28-day expiration date from the start of a promotion
Charity tiers, and extra tier items often have a 1-year expiration from the start of the promotion
When in doubt, check the expiration date of the game in your Game Library!
Example of an expiring free game below:
You may be asking yourself, why? Expiration dates and returning keys ensures our developer partners can continue to receive keys from Steam, allowing them to participate in future collections by staying compliant with Steam's policy on keys. Otherwise, they run the risk of being denied keys to participate in collections not only through Digiphile, but across all sites.
Book collection purchases, unless otherwise stated, do not have expiration dates! However, any collections containing keys may be subject to expiration at the platform's discretion.
Collections often provide region-specific keys or content. If a collection hasn't ended but isn't available to you, this means that a collection may not be available in your region for one of the following reasons:
We ran out of keys to sell in your region. Keys are assigned at purchase, and we do not sell keys we do not have. With this in mind, once a collection has run through the keys available in a specific region, it will end and no longer be available for purchase.
We never received keys for your specific region. If region-specific keys exist for a title on Steam, we are required to sell keys utilizing those pre-existing regions. In some rare cases, and for many reasons, we may not be able to obtain keys for your region, meaning the collection won't be available to you.
We are not authorized to sell a specific title in your region. This can be specific to certain games due to local/regional laws and regulations, lack of distribution rights, or other issues that don't allow us to offer the collection in your area.
Regardless of the reason, we apologize for the inconvenience and hope you can visit us again when we have more collection offerings available!
All game collections provide Steam keys. You can view this information, as well as the assigned Steam key region, below the add to cart section on each collection page.
Book collections can provide several different files for each book, such as PDF or EPUB. You can see each file type below the specific book in the collection, as well as a list of the provided file types below the add to cart section on the specific collection page.
All keys from game purchases can be found in your Digiphile Game Library: https://www.digiphile.co/customer/library/steam-keys
Make sure you've logged into the account that purchased the collection!
All of our keys and any other products sold are done via a direct partnership with either the developer or publisher of the game or book in question. We do not source any keys or files from the grey market or other illegitimate sources, so you can feel 100% confident when making your purchase!
Steam linking is a core component for many of the features we provide and is also part of the exciting updates we are planning for Digiphile.
Linking with Steam is yet another layer of protection to reduce bot activity, ensuring our key stocks are obtained by actual humans who want to play the games, and not feeding into other illegitimate sites or the grey market. Reducing grey market activity provides peace of mind for our developer partners and helps ensure we can more easily obtain awesome games for collections in the future.
Additionally, linking with Steam syncs your game library with our systems, allowing you access the Exchange and the gifting feature.
If you didn't redeem your key after revealing, you can copy and redeem your Steam key here: https://store.steampowered.com/account/registerkey
Please note, when you click to redeem your Steam key at Digiphile, the browser will open the Steam store redemption page. where you will be prompted to log in If you were already logged in with a Steam account in your browser, the key will be redeemed to whatever account is cached in your browser!
Our support team cannot reverse a redemption, or provide a new key for an accidental redemption, so please always double-check you are logged into the correct account on Steam's website prior to redemption.
We do not sell keys we do not have available! When you've purchased a game collection, you will immediately be assigned a Steam key for all games in your collection. As soon as a collection has sold out of the available keys in your region (or ends naturally at the end date), it will no longer be available for purchase. A game collection may still be available in other regions if that region still has keys!
Your Digiphile account and Steam account both have their own country or region settings. These two settings must match the same country, or you will be unable to redeem your keys as many of our partners provide region-locked keys (e.g. if your Digiphile account is set to the United Kingdom, but your Steam account is set to the United States, you are likely to run into key redemption issues). Please note that customer support cannot provide refunds for region mismatching once a key has been redeemed, revealed, or gifted.
When creating your Digiphile account, you will "Choose Your Region" (which is auto detected but can also be changed manually). You can also change your region once every 90 days from your account settings.
You can update your Steam store country by following the steps here.
Important Note: You cannot change the country/region associated with a Steam key post-purchase, as keys are assigned based on the country setting at the time of purchase.
If region restrictions exist for a key (only applicable to Game collections), you will be assigned a regional key upon checking out.
In most cases, regional keys exist, so we suggest only gifting to friends from the same region/country. You can verify your account country on your settings page or above the checkout button when purchasing a collection.
Customer support cannot change the region associated with your key, so please ensure your country setting is correct before purchasing!
First, check you are entering your key correctly, usually by copying and pasting the key, or following a pre-filled redemption flow.
Next, verify you don't already own the content in your Steam library.
Also, verify your Digiphile and Steam account country settings match.
Finally, contact our support team at help@digiphile.co and we will be happy to investigate further!
