Collection often provide region-specific keys or content. If a collection hasn't ended but isn't available to you, this means that a collection may not be available in your region for one of the following reasons:
We ran out of keys to sell in your region. Keys are assigned at purchase, and we do not sell keys we do not have. With this in mind, once a collection has run through the keys available in a specific region, it will end and no longer be available for purchase.
We never received keys for your specific region. If region-specific keys exist for a title on Steam, we are required to sell keys utilizing those pre-existing regions. In some rare cases, and for many reasons, we may not be able to obtain keys for your region, meaning the collection won't be available to you.
We are not authorized to sell a specific title in your region. This can be specific to certain games due to local/regional laws and regulations, lack of distribution rights, or other issues that don't allow us to offer the collection in your area.
Regardless of the reason, we apologize for the inconvenience and hope you can visit us again when we have more collection offerings available!
If you didn't redeem your key after revealing, you can copy and redeem your Steam key here: https://store.steampowered.com/account/registerkey
We do not sell keys we do not have available! When you've purchased a game collection, you will immediately be assigned a Steam key for all games in your collection. As soon as a collection has sold out of the available keys in your region (or ends naturally at the end date), it will no longer be available for purchase. A game collection may still be available in other regions if that region still has keys!
All of our keys and any other products sold are done via a direct partnership with either the developer or publisher of the game or book in question. We do not source any keys or files from the grey market or other illegitimate sources, so you can feel 100% confident when making your purchase!
Steam linking is a core component for many of the features we provide and is also part of the exciting updates we are planning for Digiphile.
Linking with Steam is yet another layer of protection to reduce bot activity, ensuring our key stocks are obtained by actual humans who want to play the games, and not feeding into other illegitimate sites or the grey market. Reducing grey market activity provides peace of mind for our developer partners and helps ensure we can more easily obtain awesome games for collections in the future.
Additionally, linking with Steam syncs your game library with our systems, allowing you access the Exchange and the gifting feature.
All game collections provide Steam keys. You can view this information, as well as the assigned Steam key region, below the add to cart section on each collection page.
Book collections can provide several different files for each book, such as PDF or EPUB. You can see each file type below the specific book in the collection, as well as a list of the provided file types below the add to cart section on the specific collection page.
As a best practice, all Steam keys have a 90-day redemption window. After that, unredeemed and unrevealed keys will expire and be returned to the developer. You will keep any keys redeemed to your Steam account!
You may be asking yourself, why? Expiration dates and returning keys ensures our developer partners can continue to receive keys from Steam, allowing them to participate in future collections by staying compliant with Steam's policy on keys. Otherwise, they run the risk of being denied keys to participate in collections not only through Digiphile, but across all sites.
Book collection purchases, unless otherwise stated, do not have expiration dates! However, any collections containing keys may be subject to expiration at the platform's discretion.
Your Digiphile account and Steam account both have their own country or region settings. These two settings must match the same country, or you will be unable to redeem your keys as many of our partners provide region-locked keys (e.g. if your Digiphile account is set to the United Kingdom, but your Steam account is set to the United States, you are likely to run into key redemption issues). Please note that customer support cannot provide refunds for region mismatching once a key has been redeemed, revealed, or gifted.
When creating your Digiphile account, you will "Choose Your Region" (which is auto detected but can also be changed manually). You can also change your region once every 90 days from your account settings.
You can update your Steam store country by following the steps here.
First, check you are entering your key correctly, usually by copying and pasting the key, or following a pre-filled redemption flow.
Next, verify you don't already own the content in your Steam library.
Also, verify your Digiphile and Steam account country settings match.
Finally, contact our support team at support@digiphile.co and we will be happy to investigate further!
