What are the qualifications needed? Is the program open to non-IT practitioners?
The scholarship is open to anyone 18 and above. The following beneficiaries shall be given priority:
Disadvantaged unemployed individuals - e.g. non-essential workers, workers in industries that Covid-19, etc have been hardest hit.
Individuals who are likely to hold less stable jobs
Vocational students who are pursuing a technology-related qualification
University students who are pursuing a technology-related qualification
Qualified government workers
How do I know if I am selected for the program?
Coursera will send an email invitation. Follow the instructions on the Coursera page to activate your account within a month. If the learner is inactive for one (1) month, the GCC will be automatically revoked.
What courses are included in this program?
There are 8 specializations included in the program.
Google Cybersecurity
Google Advanced Data Analytics
Google Data Analytics
Google Project Management
Google IT Support
Google UX Design
Google AI Essentials
Google Prompting Essentials
Each specialization comprises several courses that must be finished before a final certificate can be issued.
How do I access the course?
The courses are available through the Coursera homepage and are valid until December 31, 2027. The learners do not need to join any stream or use any videoconferencing link to access the courses.
What will be the schedule of the online courses?
The learners set their schedule upon enrollment and learn at their own pace.
The learners can complete the online program on their terms with under ten (10) hours of flexible study per week depending on the learner’s study pace.
How long does it take to finish a course?
The courses or tracks can be completed in 3-6 months (about 120 hours at 10 hours/week), with no prerequisites.
The learners can enroll in any number of certification programs.
The learners can earn multiple certificates and switch courses anytime (Cybersecurity, Advanced Data Analytics, Data Analytics, IT Support/IT Automation, Project Management, User Experience (UX) Design, Google AI Essentials and Google Prompting Essentials
Are there fees that need to be paid to complete a course and secure a certificate?
No fees of any form shall be collected from recipients of the DICT-sponsored Google Career Certificate Scholarship program.
At NO point within the engagement of the GCC courses availed through DICT's scholarship program shall fees (in monetary value or in-kind) be collected for reasons of completion or issuance of documentary proof thereof.
For issues, concerns, and/or clarifications regarding payments and billing related to GCC courses taken under the DICT-sponsored scholarship, kindly send an email to dict.scholarship@dict.gov.ph for the government participants and dict.scholarship.public@dict.gov.ph for the public participants.

What you will see depends on your indicated sector (In this case SECTOR J).

Scroll down to see all available courses
STEP 4
Select a course to enroll in.
STEP 5
Click the "Enroll" button to continue on the course enrollment
Please note that the start date indicated on the "Enroll" button is the beginning date of your selected course

Congratulations! You have successfully enrolled in a course!
You will need to upload a picture of your ID to receive the certificate once you finish the course. You do not need to do it immediately. Coursera will tell you when it is needed

Scroll down and click the "Get Started" Button to proceed.

You can now start with Week 1 of your chosen course.
