The Awareness Raising Video Competition sponsored by Brunei will continue this 2026. The entry could be one of the following topics:
Social Engineering
Artificial Intelligence
QR Code Phishing (Quishing)
Money Mule
Cyberbully
Cyber Safety for Seniors
Internet of Things (IOT)
Data Security
Smart Device
Entries are limited to ONE (1) video from each AMS
The video must be between 30sec to 60sec long.
The video must be an original work of the student named in the entry form.
The preferred language used in the video is English; if the video is in a local language, it must include English subtitles.
Videos will be judged based on clarity of cybersecurity message, creativity and quality of the video.
Participants are allowed to use Al tools in moderation to enhance their videos, such as for visual effects, subtitles, audio cleanup or creative elements that support the storytelling. Creative and responsible use of Al is encouraged; however, videos that are fully generated using Al are strictly prohibited. Any entry found to rely entirely on Al for video creation will be immediately disqualified from the competition.
Videos depicting violence, sexism, racism or other inappropriate content such as smoking, drinking or other vices, including messages deemed to advocate curtailment of the rights of others, will be disqualified.
ELIGIBILITY
The video must be the original work of the registered participants
Aged below 30 years old
A citizen of your country
Currently enrolled in a school or higher education institution in your country.
COPYRIGHT
By entering this competition, participants acknowledge and guarantee that the submitted video is an original work created solely by the participant and that it does not infringe on copyrights, trademarks, and the rights of privacy, publicity or intellectual property rights of any person or entity.
By submitting an entry to this competition, participants agree to grant the Department of Information and Communications Technology (DICT) and members of the ASEAN-Japan Cybersecurity Working Group the right to reproduce, distribute, and display the video across any media platform at any time. Further editing of the videos by AMS is not allowed.
