Privacy Policy — Gmail Acortador Corporativo

1. Overview

Gmail Acortador Corporativo is a Chrome extension designed for internal corporate use.  It helps users shorten and structure emails within Gmail using the OpenAI API.

2. Data We Access

The extension accesses the content of emails being composed by the user in Gmail,  exclusively at the moment the user clicks the "✂️ Acortar" button. This content is  sent to the OpenAI API solely to generate an optimized version of the email.

3. Data We Store

The only data stored locally on the user's device is the OpenAI API key, saved using  chrome.storage.local. This key never leaves the user's device except to authenticate requests to the OpenAI API.

4. Data We Do Not Collect

We do not collect, store, transmit, or share any of the following:

- Personal identification information

- Email history or metadata

- Browsing history

- Location data

- Any data from emails the user does not explicitly choose to optimize

5. Third Parties

Email content submitted for optimization is sent to OpenAI's API. This data is processed according to OpenAI's own privacy policy, available at: https://openai.com/policies/privacy-policy

We do not sell, transfer, or share user data with any other third parties.

6. User Control

Users can delete their stored API key at any time by removing the extension from Chrome or clearing the extension's local storage.
