I am an assistant professor (RTDa) in computer science at the Department of Computer, Control, and Management Engineering “Antonio Ruberti” at Sapienza University of Rome.
I obtained my PhD in 2018 in Computer Science at the Università degli Studi di Milano, Italy. Since then, I have accumulated significant research experience. This includes positions such as Research Fellow at both Sapienza University of Rome and the DISIT Lab at Università degli Studi di Firenze, Italy.
My research centers on integrating Internet of Things (IoT) technologies with artificial intelligence (AI) to enhance smart city applications, promoting sustainable urban development and improving quality of life in areas such as transportation, energy management, and urban planning. By exploring the synergies between IoT and AI, my work aims to provide comprehensive and effective solutions that not only optimize urban systems but also foster resilience and adaptability in the face of dynamic urban challenges. Through the deployment of advanced technologies, we seek to revolutionize the way cities operate, making them more efficient, sustainable, and livable for their inhabitants.
