I am a Senior Assistant Professor (RTT) in Computer Science at Università Telematica San Raffaele in Rome, Italy. Previously, I served as a Junior Assistant Professor (RTDa) at the Department of Computer, Control, and Management Engineering “Antonio Ruberti” at Sapienza University of Rome, where I also held a Research Fellow position. I obtained my PhD in Computer Science from the University of Milan in 2018.
My research focuses on the intersection of Artificial Intelligence (AI), Large Language Models (LLMs), and the Internet of Things (IoT), applied to Industry 4.0, smart cities, and sustainable digital transformation. I am particularly interested in developing intelligent and interoperable systems that integrate blockchain, Big Data analytics, and AI-driven automation to enhance urban mobility, industrial resilience, and energy efficiency.
I have participated in several national and European research projects, including Made in Italy Circolare e Sostenibile (MICS), BinTraWine, PON Governance e Capacità Istituzionale, and Sii-Mobility, where my work has contributed to the creation of advanced digital platforms and data-driven decision-support tools. My recent publications span topics such as software effort estimation using ChatGPT, digital twins for sustainable manufacturing, and blockchain-based supply chain confidentiality.
Through my teaching, I have lectured on subjects such as Distributed Artificial Intelligence, Internet of Things, and Computer Graphics and Gaming Studio. My overarching goal is to advance the integration of intelligent, secure, and adaptive computational systems to improve sustainability, interoperability, and quality of life across digital and physical environments.
