Training Requirements

Instructions:

1), FIRST, Complete the Elf information form in Regpack as part of the registration process. If already registered, check to make sure your info is up to date and accurate! See "How-to" on the Welcome page of the DDC Camper HUB. If you are a new elf, check the "Elf names already used" file below. Make sure the names listed as options on your Elf information form are not already in use. Elf names must be unique.

2) NEXT, Access the DDC Twin Canyon Elf Manual. Read through it. 

3) THEN, Take the Elf test, which is a Google Form. 

You need to finish these three items before you attend Elf Training.

4) Attendance at elf training is mandatory. We will review highlights from the Elf Manual and do some hands-on cooking training, and more! You cannot be an elf if you do not attend elf training. 

• Sessions 1, 3, 5 on Sunday, April 12, 2026 

• Sessions 2, 6, 7 on Saturday, May 2, 2026

• New elves 10:30am to 5:00pm. Returning elves 11:30am to 5:00pm

5) Perform service hours. 2nd, 3rd and 4th year elves must perform 2 hours of service. You cannot be an elf next year if you do not perform service hours this year. 1st year, 5th year, 6th year, training elves and graduating seniors are exempt from this requirement. Everyone should complete the Google survey to sign up for service hours or document your exemption. 

6) Attend your session-only meeting. See dates below. 

7) Attend your session set-up day. See dates below.

8) You must attend camp all five days, all day long (8:30am to 4:00pm) each day.
