The Department of Human Settlements and Urban Development (DHSUD) has produced concrete and life-changing outcomes for Filipino families, through President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr.’s flagship Expanded Pambansang Pabahay para sa Pilipino (4PH) Program.
As the Department marks its 7th anniversary with the theme, “Seven Years of Continuing Service: Celebrating Our People and Partners in Building Homes, Building Communities, and Building Happiness,” DHSUD Secretary Jose Ramon Aliling underscored how policy reforms, program expansion, and a people-centered approach have strengthened the administration’s housing and urban development agenda.

Shelter Knowledge Fair Highlights 2025 National Shelter Month
As a key component of the 2025 National Shelter Month celebration, the Department of Human Settlements and Urban Development will host a Shelter Knowledge Fair to foster knowledge sharing and collaboration among stakeholders. The fair will feature a Shelter Timeline showcasing the history of the housing sector, an Innovation & Best Practice Exhibit, and a Knowledge Café.
Housing and Resettlement : Disiplina Village by the City Government of Valenzuela
The City Government of Valenzuela envisions a city free from informal settler families (ISFs) living in danger zones. It is also committed in addressing poverty and restoring human dignity by implementing sustainable housing project which can provide safer and more decent homes and basic services to families living in danger zones in Valenzuela, thus the rise of Disiplina Village in Barangay Bignay and Ugong.
Habitat for Humanity : The Negros Occidental Impact 2025
In 2019, Habitat for Humanity and the Hilti Foundation forged a partnership to bring the utilization of disaster-resilient Cement Bamboo Frame Technology to scale and help address the housing gap in Negros Occidental. Dubbed the Negros Occidental Impact 2025 (NOI25), the project aims to build homes in sustainable communities that are clean, green, safe, disaster-resilient, and progressive where families enjoy security in their homes.
