The Duke of Edinburgh award is for 14-24 year olds and is designed so that it is open to all. Whatever your interests there should be a way to incorporate them into your award as you choose your own volunteering, physical and skill activities.

They gain essential skills and attributes for work and life such as resilience, problem-solving, team-working, communication and drive, enhancing CVs and uni and job applications." https://www.dofe.org/

DofE does not give you UCAS points. However it is an excellent talking point for your Personal Statement, as you'll develop many soft skills such as teamwork, leadership, resilience and responsibility.
