DG Self Storage Limited: Terms & Conditions

1. Rent and Payments:

- Rent is payable four-weekly in advance. Your first payment covers the initial four-week period.

- Renewal payments are due at least three days before the end of the current four-week period.

-  Valid ID may be required.

- Late rent will be charged at double the daily rate, plus a late payment fee of €25.00.

- Non-payment may result in access denial, the addition of our lock (removed only after full payment), and, after 21 days, potential lock breakage and sale of goods to recover outstanding debts.

2. Contract Termination:

- Seven (7) day's written notice is required to terminate this agreement by either party.  Notice must be delivered in writing to address provided in the agreement or to DG Self Storage limited unit 4 first floor,84 Strand street Skerries Co. Dublin

- We may terminate this agreement immediately for breach of these terms.

- Upon termination, you must vacate the unit and remove all belongings. Failure to do so may result in additional charges.

3. Liability and Responsibility:

- DG Self Storage Limited is not liable for loss or damage to your stored goods.  You are responsible for insuring your belongings.

- We are not liable for injuries on the premises or damage to vehicles.

- You agree to indemnify and hold DG Self Storage Limited harmless from claims related to disputes over stored goods.

4. Ownership of Goods:

- You confirm ownership of stored items or the right to store them.

- If ownership is disputed, we may sell your items to recover unpaid rent.

5. Access to Your Unit:

- Most units offer 24/7 access. You provide your own lock(s).

6. Prohibited Items & Activities:

The following are strictly prohibited:

- Illegal Substances:  Illegal drugs, materials, or items for illegal use.

- Hazardous Materials: Flammable liquids, explosives, corrosive chemicals, toxic substances, and radioactive materials.

- Perishable Goods: Food, produce, plants, or items attracting pests.

- Living Creatures: Animals, birds, fish, insects, etc.

- Weapons: Firearms, knives, etc.

- Dangerous Goods: Items posing fire, health, or safety risks.  If unsure, contact us before storing.

- Nuisances: Activities disturbing other renters or staff (e.g., excessive noise, strong odors).

7. Insurance:

- You are responsible for insuring your stored goods. DG Self Storage Limited is not liable for loss or damage.

8. Unit Suitability:

- We do not guarantee unit suitability for specific items. Storage is at your own risk.

9. Notices:

- Notices are sent to your provided address and are deemed received 2-3 working days after posting.

10. General Rules:

- Delay in exercising our rights does not waive those rights.

- You cannot transfer this agreement.

- Each provision is severable. Invalidity of one does not affect others.

- This is not a landlord-tenant agreement.

- For multiple renters, responsibility is joint and several.

- CCTV is in operation.

- We may change these terms with 30 days' written notice for existing contracts.
