I am a lifelong learner and explorer. I am a proud North Dakota State University (NDSU) graduate with a Bachelor’s degree in Sociology, focusing on Deviant Behavior, and I earned my Education degree at Minnesota State University Moorhead (MSUM). My deep fascination with history, particularly the complex events of World War II, is matched only by my adventurous spirit and goal to travel to all 50 states. At home, life is anchored by my family and community; I am the proud parent of four adult children who are all proud Dilworth-Glyndon-Felton (DGF) alumni, and I share my days with Trixie, my lively two-year-old dog. Combining my background in education with a love for academic challenge, I also coach middle school Knowledge Bowl, guiding students as they test their wits and teamwork—and if you are curious about how Knowledge Bowl works, please ask!
