The FIRST Tech Challenge is a global robotics competition for students aged 12–18 (grades 7–12 in the U.S.) that focuses on science, technology, engineering, and math (STEM). It is one of the programs under FIRST (For Inspiration and Recognition of Science and Technology), a nonprofit dedicated to inspiring young people to become leaders in science and technology.
The program aims to:
Inspire interest in STEM fields.
Teach practical engineering and problem-solving skills.
Foster teamwork, leadership, and communication.
Build connections between students, mentors, and industry professionals.
This challenge for this year is quite interesting! The main goal of this season is to launch artifacts into your team's goal. For maximum points, you can launch the artifacts through the goal onto the ramp in the order that is printed on the obelisk. You can see exactly how the game works in the video attached!
