All homework, prewriting, drafts, and other formative homework is due on the date indicated in Google Classroom.

Formative work that is handed in after the due date will be marked as late.

Summative work - final drafts and projects will be accepted no later than one week - 7 calendar days - after the due date.

Missed summative assessments must be completed no later than one week - 7 calendar days - after the original date of the test.

Students who've earned a D or an F on a major summative assessment - a test taken at the end of a unit - have the opportunity to retake the assessment to raise their D or F to a C.

To retake an assessment, the student must notify me no later than 5 calendar days after the grades have been posted.

A summative assessment retake must be completed no later than 10 calendar days after the grades from the original assessment have been posted.

Students must conference with me and share the development of least one study tool - flashcards, response practice, etc. - prior to retaking the test
