Welcome!
My name is Mrs. Janet Hecht and I am the Choir Director, General Music and STEAM Studio teacher at O'Neill Middle School. I am so excited to be starting my ninth year at OMS! I was formerly a student at O'Neill and had the privilege to be in Mr. Sorgatz's choir many years ago. I am proud to be back at O'Neill and look forward to cheering on our Senators this year.
My education background includes a Bachelor's Degree in Music Education from the University of Illinois and a Master's Degree in Guidance Counseling from DePaul University.
