IMPORTANT REMINDERS ON CLAIMING PASSPORT/S
Who can claim and requirements in claiming of passports:
1. The applicants themselves (must be 18 yrs old and above)
Original old passport
Official passport receipt
Valid IDs or iqama
2. Immediate family members: (Mother, Father, Siblings, Spouse)
Authorization letter (indicating the name of the family member)
Original Old Passport of the applicant
Valid IDs or iqama of the family member
Official passport receipt
3. Authorized representative
Original Special Power of Attorney (SPA)
Original old passport of the applicant
Official passport receipt
Valid IDs or iqama of the applicant and the representative.
4. For minor applicants (0-17 yrs old):
(Mother)
Original old passport (for renewal applicant)
Official passport receipt
Valid IDs or iqama of mother
5. For minor applicants (0-17 yrs old):
(Father)
Original old passport (for renewal applicant)
Official passport receipt
Valid IDs or iqama
PSA copy of the Marriage contract
6. If the adult applicant loses the receipt: Personal appearance is required.
Lost receipt form (available at the Embassy)
Original old passport (for renewal applicants)
Official passport receipt
Valid IDs or iqama
7. For applicants who applied for the replacement of their lost passports
Official passport receipt
Valid IDs or iqama
Passports that remain unclaimed for 1 year will be automatically canceled as per Department Order No. 2021-012.
