FILIPINO DIVING DESTINATIONS, TROPICAL WEATHER ARE CROWD FAVORITES AT AUSTRIA’S FERIEN MESSE 2025 

22 January 2025, Vienna - Palawan, Anilao, Coron, Bohol, Cebu, and Puerto Galera were among the most inquired diving destinations in the Philippines by visitors to the Ferien Messe last 16-19 January 2025. European visitors looking for their next tropical getaway who visited the Philippine booth were provided with information on year-round destination options in the country. 

The Philippines was part of over 400 exhibitors at the  Ferien Messe 2025, Austria’s largest travel and leisure fair. The Philippine booth highlighted the country’s pristine diving and snorkeling spots, rich historical and cultural landmarks, and the year-round tropical climate. In addition to being an information center for individual and group travelers to the country, the Philippine booth served as a hub for travel agencies seeking partnerships with Philippine tour operators, fostering valuable business-to-business (B2B) connections. 

The Ferien Messe in Vienna gathers more than 35,000 visitors annually. The Philippine participation in the fair this year was made possible in partnership with Eva Air and the Department of Tourism (DOT)-Frankfurt. END.
