28 APRIL 2025, VIENNA - The ASEAN Embassies in Vienna promoted friendship and camaraderie through a congenial bowling tournament at the Plus Bowling Center.

The Philippine Embassy in Vienna participated in the ASEAN Sports Day organized by the Embassy of Laos as the current Chair of the ASEAN Vienna Committee (AVC). The embassy’s Ms. Shirley Vergara garnered the highest score among female players, while Malaysia won both male and female team competitions. The AVC is composed of the Embassies of Indonesia, Laos, Malaysia, Myanmar, Philippines, Singapore, Thailand, and Viet Nam.

The ASEAN Sports Day is one the activities of the AVC to facilitate fellowship among the officers and staff of the ASEAN Embassies in Vienna. END.
