21 April 2026. Five new cocktails using world-class Philippine-made spirits from ube, calamansi, buko, mangoes, and sugarcane were presented during the opening of Philippine Cocktail Week on 20 April 2026 at Plus 43 Bar in Vienna. 

The 5 cocktails created by Plus 43 Bar owner Semih Aybar using 7 Philippine liquors will be served during the 6-day run of Philippine Cocktail Week. The event features Ube Cream Liqueur from Destileria Barako; Coco Hogo Cream Liqueur, Mango Paradise Rum, San Juan de Lambanog, Bonifacio Rum and Manille Liqueur de Calamansi from Destileria Limtuaco; and Double Rum from Tanduay Distillers.

Philippine ambassador to Austria Evangelina A. Bernas thanked Plus 43 Bar for the collaboration in promoting Philippine alcoholic beverages featuring the best of Philippine agricultural products: ube, calamansi, coconut, and mangoes. 

The Philippine Cocktail Week at Plus 43 Bar will run from 20 to 25 April 2026. Reservations at the bar may be made through Plus 43’s Instagram page (@plus43vie). The event is organized by the Philippine Embassy in Vienna in collaboration with Plus 43 bar as part of its Filipino Food Month celebration during this year’s 80th anniversary of diplomatic relations between the Philippines and Austria.
