Over 500 Services Provided to Overseas Filipinos at Consular and Migrant Worker Outreach Mission in Split, Croatia

13 November 2025, Vienna - Filipinos in Split, Croatia benefited from over 500 services rendered at the consular and migrant worker outreach mission of the Philippine Embassy in Vienna from 7 to 8 November 2025.
The services included passport processing, civil registry and notarial tasks. The Migrant Workers Office in Vienna, a partner agency of the Embassy, provided contract verification services, OWWA membership processing, and labor consultations for overseas Filipino workers from Split, Zagreb, and other parts of Croatia. Pag-IBIG and SSS representatives provided their services through dedicated virtual offices at the outreach.
A Post-Arrival Orientation Seminar (PAOS), supported by the International Organization for Migration (IOM) Zagreb Office. The PAOS aims to help newly arrived overseas Filipinos to adjust to living and working in Croatia by discussing local laws and culture, employment practices, and support services.
The Embassy thanked the Filipino community and its partners for their cooperation, reaffirming the Philippine government’s aim to deliver government services and strengthen overseas Filipino communities in Croatia. END.
