11 April 2025, Vienna - The Austrian Leadership Programs (ALPS) recognized Dr. Raul Destura for his expertise in molecular technology. Dr. Destura developed the first Filipino COVID-19 test kit in 2020. He is the CEO of Manila Healthtek, Inc., a pioneering Filipino biotechnology firm specializing in molecular technology and developing low-cost and low-technology diagnostic kits for infectious diseases. 

On its 19th edition this year, Austrian Leadership Programs is organized by the Federal Ministry for European and International Affairs and gathers decision-makers around the globe to meet with high-level officials from Austrian business, industry, and politics. While attending the program, Dr. Destura has been exploring opportunities for cooperation with Austrian companies. END.
