Henley Barrett - 1st in Computer Applications, 2nd in Economics and 2nd in Organizational Leadership. Katelynn Chappell placed 2nd in Intro to Business Presentation and Sports and Entertainment Management. Fatima Gonzales was 4th in Cybersecurity. Dylan Harris placed 5th in Accounting and Personal Finance. Kyleigh Wilson was 5th for a test in Intro to Business Communications, and Nicole Johnson also placed 5th in Intro to FBLA and Human Resource Management. Others awarded medals were Julie Coleman and Lizzie Perez, who placed 4th in Entrepreneurship and Digital Video Production. Fatima Gonzalez was 4th in Customer Service. Eben Carr was 5th in Intro to Public Speaking, and Cale Barrett was 5th in Graphic Design. Henley Barrett presided over the meeting and awards as the District 16 President. Faith Midkiff was elected Secretary and Juan Martinez VP of FBLA-PBL for District 16 for 2026-2027 school year.
FBLA and FCCLA combined for a Christmas party at the Hickory Log on December 10, 2025.
Dexter FBLA hosted a Food Drive for the Stoddard County Gospel Mission Food Bank from November 4 to 18th. We donated 1,032 items of Ramen, Macaroni and Cheese, and Peanut Butter. Mrs. Huffman's advisory won the pizza party; Ms. Beck, Mrs. Griffin and Mr. Myers advisories won donut parties.
Trunk or Treat was moved inside the BEC. We sponsored booths for Winnie the Pooh and Friends, Strawberry Shortcake and Jaws.
Mr. Brian Roberts, Branch Manager of Regions Bank in Dexter, Missouri spoke to our members about the importance of savings. He shared strategies and incentives to set aside money for future needs.
FBLA members, adviser and chaperones braved the wet weather and had a fun day at Silver Dollar City on Saturday, October 25.
We completed a successful fundraiser selling 550 dozen Krispy Kreme donuts. Thank you Dexter!!!!
Zoey & Danyl were the top 2 sellers of donuts, and the tie for 3rd was broken with Angelina winning. Melody won the "wildcard" drawing of those who sold 10 or more Krispy Kreme dozens. We sold 550 dozen this year. Our profits go toward club expenses, travel and helping reduce costs of events.
