The DeWitt School District continues to collaborate with K-12 Culinary Connection. The goal for this year is to give students restaurant quality food and healthy options on a daily basis.

K-12 Culinary Connection brought over 1,000 new recipes for our district to sample and enjoy, including made from scratch pizza, orange chicken and fried rice, homemade meatloaf, and chicken enchiladas with trained culinary chefs creating new and trending recipes!

The online payment option is a quick and secure way to deposit money to your child’s meal account by using a debit or credit card.

In addition to helping the school take advantage of the latest technology, this service is a great convenience to you. By utilizing www.EZSchoolPay.com, you will not have to wonder if the check you wrote for meals actually made it to school and your children will be assured that meals will continue uninterrupted.

Send payments faster and directly into your child’s meal accounts. Payments are credited within 10 minutes.
Low Balances: Receive alerts when your child’s balance drops below a certain balance.
Mobile applications: EZSchoolPay is available from your device’s app store and are
available for iPhone, iPad, and Android devices. Receive alerts of low balances and make payments for your child’s meal account.

Free and Reduced Price School Meals

Children need healthy meals to learn. DeWitt School District offers healthy meals every school day. Your children may qualify for free meals or for reduced price meals.

The DeWitt School District policy for providing free and reduced price meals for children served under the National School Lunch Program, Afterschool Snack Program, and School Breakfast Program is available at the link below. DeWitt Elementary School, DeWitt Middle School, DeWitt High School, and Gillett Elementary School also have a copy of the policy, which may be reviewed by any interested party.

The price charged for a paid student breakfast is $1.25 at all campuses and for a paid adult breakfast is $1.50 at all campuses; the price charged for a paid student lunch is $1.75 at DeWitt Elementary School and Gillett Elementary School and $2.25 at DeWitt Middle School and DeWitt High School. Adult lunch will be $3.50 at all campuses.

Household size and income criteria will be used to determine eligibility for free and reduced price benefits for SY 2018-2019. Children from households whose income is at or below the levels shown are eligible for free or reduced price meals.
