Library Media Center Mission Statement

DMS/DHS Library Media Center trains researchers, critical thinkers, enthusiastic readers, and ethical participants in the digital information world by providing quality resources for both academic and personal endeavors and by collaborating with faculty and community  members to enhance instruction.

Social Media Mission Statement

DMS/DHS social media presence features and promotes the library’s resources, content, programming, and events. With its social media, the library primarily seeks to engage students and the broader local community, including parents, faculty and staff, and alumnae. 

Library Circulation Policies

Regular- 14 days; may be renewed twice. Students may have up to three books checked out at once.

Reference- overnight; may be renewed twice

Overdue materials will be assessed ten cents each overdue day. New materials will not be checked out until fines are paid or lost materials are replaced.
