The University of Deusto Staff Week is aimed at academic staff and professionals from International Relations Offices (IROs) and internationalisation units within Higher Education Institutions who are engaged in, or interested in, the development and implementation of Internationalisation at Home (IaH) strategies.
Participants are typically involved in one or more of the following areas:
Institutional strategy and decision-making: staff contributing to the design, implementation, or evaluation of internationalisation and IaH policies at the faculty or institutional level.
International relations and project management: professionals working in International Relations Offices or managing international projects and partnerships.
Academic practice in internationalised environments: faculty members, lecturers, and programme coordinators integrating international and intercultural dimensions into curricula, including internationalised study plans, collaborative teaching (e.g. COIL), and teaching diverse or international student groups.
To ensure quality and effectiveness in every session, seats are limited up to 25 participants and up to 2 participants per university. The hosting institution will consider the following selection criteria:
Quality of the application
Geographical and institutional balance
Administrative staff and academic representatives' proportionality
Gender equality
English will be the working language during the Staff Week, hence, fluency (C1 equivalent level of command of English) is strongly recommended.
Information on selected participants will be sent by April 27th.
