I am excited to be starting my tenth year of teaching and my sixth year at NDHS! I am also the Beta Club sponsor and  mentor teacher for the English department on our campus.

I am a graduate of the University of Arkansas at Monticello (Go Boll Weevils!), where I earned a Bachelor's Degree in English with an emphasis in literature as well as two associate degrees. After moving to Louisiana, I attended LSUS where I earned my teaching license.

I believe Vince Lombardi said it best in his quote, "The only place success comes before work is the dictionary." I have high expectations for my students and expect their best efforts. I am available during class time, my planning period, and usually after school through email or after school tutoring.
