Coach Beavers is in his 5th year of teaching. He has taught Kindergarten and 5th grade before joining the John Glenn P.E. Staff. He has a passion for health and fitness. He loves going to the gym, running, and hiking. Coach Beavers is dedicated to helping students learn how to be healthy and active. Outside of teaching, he coaches football at La Quinta High School as well as coaching group fitness classes and running club before and after school at John Glenn.

Ms. Williams has been teaching for 21 years in Desert Sands Unified School District spending most of her career in Kindergarten and First grade. She decided to make the move to middle school PE and dance four years ago and is loving the ability to rebuild the dance program at John Glenn Middle School! Ms. Williams is excited about bringing Cardio Kickboxing to John Glenn as well as a part of our before school ELOP opportunities! Outside of teaching Ms. Williams can be found on a mountain hiking, on a pickleball court playing or at one of her kids' PDHS volleyball games or PDHS football games!

Coach Rojo is so excited to start his 18th year of teaching and his 4th year at John Glenn. His wife teaches 2nd grade at James Monroe, they have a daughter who is an 9th grader at PDHS, and a son in 6th grade at John Glenn. He can't wait to continue to build on this amazing PE program we have at John Glenn. He has lived in the Coachella Valley his whole life and hope to make this year very enjoyable for all students. He is into all things Disney, Marvel, and Star Wars along with supporting his daughter with her dance competitions and his son's boy scout activities.

Coach Knight is in his 37th year of teaching. He joins the PE department this year after teaching 7th grade Individuals and Societies during the 2023-2024 academic year. This is the second time in the Desert Sands school district for Knight as he taught History at La Quinta High School in the early 2000s. Outside of teaching, Coach Knight enjoys playing golf, pickleball, and exploring the desert. He is also on the Board of Directors for FCA of Southern California.
