Voter Registration Club allowed us to see that many students are not aware of how to register to vote and do not have the resources to do so. Our mission therefore became to inform people of why they need to register and how important it is to vote and to participate in the country's elections. By providing QR codes, flyers, and links to school chromebooks, we were able to get hundreds of students pre-registered to vote in the upcoming election. This mission became a collaborative event every month where our club members were able to interact with other students of the school, political members and community leaders all while building up our list of pre-registered students available to put in their vote once they turn eighteen years old. Our team truly created fulfilled memories no matter what the meetings entailed, whether it be poster making, information gathering or collaborations with other school clubs, each meeting showed us how to create goals and how to accomplish them while making change.
