Our lunch events were an easy way for us to motivate students to stop by, scan the QR code that led them to the registration link, and register to vote in minutes. Many students that strolled by were enticed by the colors and candy we provided and ended up walking away as a pre-registered Californian. One of the main questions we got was, "What is this?" which made us realize how many students were unaware that pre-registering is an option and with their provided school chromebooks, they were either able to sign up at that moment or take the link home to do later.
