The only Professional Dance focused High School Program in the Coachella Valley

Aztec Arts Academy Dance Co. was started in 2021 by Cristina McKeever. A professional dancer, choreographer and educator born and raised in the Coachella Valley, Cristina created this program from the ground up with the goal of creating unique, educational and pre-professional dance opportunities for young, aspiring professional dancers. Aztec Arts Academy Dance Company is for the serious dancer of intermediate to advanced technique, who wants to expand their knowledge, enhance their technique and gain insight, mentorship and education for all things collegiate and professional dance. From "On Set" experiences with Los Angeles based Director, Becca Nelson, choreographic residencies with professional dance artists and companies, injury prevention training, pilates certification, choreographic opportunities and more, Aztec Arts Academy Dance Company's goal is to prepare and expose aspiring dancers to the incredible opportunities that a career in dance has to offer.
