My name is Gretchen Brinkman and I have been a proud teacher in the Dover-Eyota school district for 17 years!!  I started in the district as a Reading Specialist and moved into 2nd grade in my six year.   I find great joy in teaching  2nd graders and am blessed with the opportunity to work with such wonderful parents.    I am a firm believer in creating a positive learning environment where all children feel welcomed and safe.   

  I have three grown children and six beautiful grandchildren.   I live in Rochester with my boyfriend, two dogs and one cat.  I  love spending time with my grandchildren making forever memories and watching them change and grow each day.    I love the outdoors and weekly side by side rides with my boyfriend and treasured friends.  I am looking forward to new adventures with our new toy hauler camper.
