About Mrs. Johnson:
I am fortunate to be one of the special education teachers at Dover-Eyota Elementary! This will be my 15th year of teaching and 10th year of teaching at Dover-Eyota! I currently work with students with a variety of disabilities in grades Kindergarten through 5th grade.
I also am very involved with our Parent And Teachers Together (PATT) organization.
Education:
I grew up in Hayfield Minnesota, then went to Winona State University where I graduated with my Bachelors Degree in teaching Special Education - Learning Disabilities and Developmental Disabilities (K-12). I then obtained my Autism Spectrum Disorders teaching license (birth through age 21) from Hamline University. After that, I obtained by Masters Degree in teaching Early Childhood Special Education (birth through age 6).
Personal:
I live in Dover with my husband Cameron, two children, Carsen and Callie, and dog, Miley. As a family, we enjoy: camping, fishing, having campfires, traveling, being outside, spending time with family and friends, attending sporting events, watching sports, volunteering in the community, and are huge Minnesota Vikings fans!
