Purpose
NAF’s Academy of Finance connects high school students with the world of financial services, offering a curriculum that covers entrepreneurship, banking and credit, financial planning, international finance, securities, insurance, accounting, and economics, among other topics. Membership within an academy provides students with focused, relevant and practical learning experiences through hands-on learning. The AOF actively engages with the local community to ensure our students are ready for life after high school, whether that be college, career or both.
What is an Academy?
Career academies are designed to prepare students for both college and careers by providing them with the skills and experience necessary to attain entry-level jobs. They are "schools within schools" in which students take both career-themed and academic classes together. These courses are linked to academic and industry standards and encourage high achievement*
