2024 Middle School Club Tennis

WHAT: Tennis instruction and match-play for boys and girls in 5th – 8th grade.

All skill levels are encouraged to play–beginner to advanced.

Schedules are structured to allow students to take part while participating in other

Middle School athletic programs. The program will run from April 2 to May 24. We are in need of parent/high school student volunteers to help during practices and during matches to make the season run smoothly.

WHEN: Outdoor practices are at De Pere HS courts. We share court time with the

boys high school tennis team. Early in the season, we may have some

indoor practices at Western Racquet and Fitness Club if the weather is not cooperative. Match play will

entail both home and away matches against other middle school

programs in the Green Bay area. The matches will usually begin at 4:00

pm during the week. All communication will be done through Stack Team App. Please Download the app. Create an account, then search for our team - DePere Middle School Tennis. 

 Please make sure to turn on notifications so you can receive ongoing updates. Any weather related, last minute communications will be handled this way.

WHERE: De Pere High School tennis courts will be used for practices and home

matches. Away matches against other schools will be held at their

locations.

FORMAT: FUN, FITNESS, AND SKILL DEVELOPMENT ARE EMPHASIZED!

Practices will consist of one hour of instruction followed by inter-squad

match play. Match-play with other programs will vary based on hosting

schools format, skill levels, and number of participants.

COST: This program is sponsored by the DPHS tennis booster club.

Individual USTA memberships are required to cover insurance.

Junior memberships are FREE and can be obtained online.
