Hello! I'm excited to be your 8th-grade school counselor this year. As you continue your middle school journey, I'm here to support you every step of the way.

What I Do

I work with 8th-grade students to help with:

- Academic planning - Making sure you're on track for high school

- Social challenges - Navigating friendships and peer relationships

- Emotional support - Managing stress, anxiety, and big feelings

- Future planning - Exploring high school options and career interests

- Problem-solving - Working through any challenges you face

My Approach

I believe every student has unique strengths and talents. My job is to help you discover what makes you special and use those strengths to overcome any obstacles. Whether you're dealing with schoolwork, friendships, family situations, or planning for the future, I'm here to listen and help you find solutions.

This year, I am the 7th-grade counselor at De Pere MS.  The main focus of my role is to help students with social skills development, emotional needs, and  academic success.   I love my job of helping students in any way I can, and am here to guide and support through individual or small group experiences.  When I am not at work, I am a busy mom to my two boys,  and we like to enjoy our free time at our family cabin.  I love all things in nature which is where I like to find my own personal calming and relaxation time.
