Toro Hills is an annex of North Bago Bantay District. The Principal then was Mr. Saturnino Magturo, who years later, became the Regional Director of the Dept. of Education in Southern Tagalog.
In the early 50’s, there was a clamor for more classes to be opened. In the school year 1960 – 1961, Miss Isabel Francisco became the principal but was promoted and transferred to San Jose Elementary School.
Toro Hills annex at Proj. 8 was made independent and Mrs. Rosenda Arriola, the Head Teacher as the Principal. Since then Toro Hills Elementary School is blessed to have kindhearted, intelligent and motherly principals who placed and led their teachers toward excellence in their own right. Premiered by Mrs. Arriola with twelve energetic teachers, she was followed by Mrs. Magdalena R. Perez with 39 teachers followed by Mrs. Emerilda Lugtu with 70 teachers. Then Miss Trinindad C. Juan came with almost 100 teachers. She was followed by Dr. Conchita Ll. Ines, and then came Dr. Ruperta B. Gayadan. She was followed by Mrs. Elizabeth San Diego. Mrs Clarita Pinili came followed by Dr. Juiet G. Navarra. She was followed by Elisa B. Francia.
Another female principal in the person of Mrs Porfiria B. Santos managed this school from (date) to November 2007. In the same year a debonair principal in the person of Dr. Edgardo V. Morales, Principal IV assumed his duty to this school. As experienced principal he continuously led the school’s torch burning. This flame radiates to energize every teacher, student and non teaching personnel to carry on the school mission.
In July 2010, this school had another intelligent lady principal in the name of Dr. Lea G. Talosig. However, she did not stay long, due to some health reasoned. Mrs. Paulina F. Platon, served for 3 years until her retirement in August 2014.
Comes next is a hardworking and kindhearted, Dr. Myrna R. Irinco who served for two years until her retirement in August 2016. Another hardworking principal in the person of Ms. Gloria E. Huera,she lead the school by training teachers. Her efforts produced winning coaches and pupils in variuos academic and athletic contests.
At present, Mr. George C. Melegrito is at helm of the school on top of the hill zealously working for academic improvement thought closer supervision on instruction, as well as implementing innovations for the improvement of the aspects of the school.
