“AWARENESS ON VIOLENCE AGAINST WOMEN AND CHILDREN (VAWC) AND PROMOTE GENDER EQUALITY AND SENSITIVITY IN WORKPLACE”
Violence in any form is intolerable, but when it targets the most vulnerable members of our community—women and children—it becomes an urgent call to action. Every act of violence leaves lasting scars on individuals, families, and communities, perpetuating a cycle that we must strive to break.
Tandang Sora Elementary School is an institution that promotes child-friendly, gender-sensitive and safe environment where victims of violence whether they are our learners, parents or stakeholders will feel safe to come forward, share their stories, and seek help without fear of judgment or reprisal but rather promotes empathy, understanding and support. We, as an instrument of change, prioritize education, awareness, and resources to empower individuals with the knowledge and tools to recognize, prevent, and address violence.
This advocacy training is one of the means on how we, as educators, could contribute in creating a society where women and children are free from any form of violence and be given equal opportunity whatever gender one may have at all times and be able to provide solutions to gender-based violence in our workplace.
