HISTORY

Pugad Lawin High School, formerly Ismael Mathay Sr. High School Annex, is historically located in an 8,000 square meter at Seminary Road, Barangay Bahay Toro, Project 8, Quezon City. It is adjacent to Pugad Lawin Shrine and a few meters away from Quezon City General Hospital. Further, it is bounded by Congressional Avenue, San Jose Village, Barangay Baesa, and Military Road in Quezon City. It was created in the early part of 1991 through City Ordinance No. NC 551, 5-91 with District I Councilor Alberto M. Galarpe as its principal author. It started its first operation in June 1993 as Toro Hills Annex of GSIS Village High School.
