PAYATAS C ES ONLINE REQUEST IS NOW AVAILABLE
Payatas C Elementary School is a self-keep project of Madjaas Confederation of Payatas II, Quezon City. Due to the need of residents of group II to have a public elementary school, Payatas C came to existence. It is encroached by the squatter houses. It is located along Litex Road Group II Bgy. Payatas, Quezon City leading to Montalban. The school started with two classrooms way back in 1983.
From the 24 hectare of land claimed by the Federation, 10,000 square meters was then set aside for the school site, but unfortunately through the influx of the squatters the school is now only occupying more or less 2,000 square meters. Out of it, only 1,600 square meters has been occupied by buildings and other structure like comfort room, plant boxes and others. The remaining vacant space with more or less 400 sq.m. has been utilized for beautification. The cemented level areas served as a venue for sports development, physical fitness, and other curricular and co-curricular activities. The school has five one-storey building with 23 academic classrooms and 5 rooms used as service centers such as administrative office (Principal’s Office), Guidance & Clinic, Canteen, Library and Conference Room. Due to shortage of academic classroom, the administrator decided to construct 2 more makeshifts as classrooms in cooperation with the PSBP and Motolite, Haligi ng Bata, Inc. The PREFAB 2 classroom building was built in 1986. The two FFCCC II 2 classrooms building was built in 1989. DepED constructed 1-storey building with 8 classrooms on May, 2008 to accommodate huge population.

The school is squatter in itself because the lot is privately owned by Mrs. Magnolia Antonino, the wife of former Sen. Gaudencio Antonino. In 1998, the supposed 3-storey building was diverted to another school site due to Land Title problem. Since then, there has been less improvement made for the school. It has the same old buildings, the fact that our school is the “MOTHER” school of LPES, PBAES, PBES. Our school is the original PBES and the only school who was left out and deserted. The other schools have been improved.
Generally speaking Payatas C Elementary School is depressed, deprived and underserved school. It has limited spaces and not conducive to learning due to overcrowded pupils, substandard classrooms and polluted air coming from garbage dumpsite which affect the health of the pupils as well as the teachers. But the school continued to play it’s role to achieve it’s educational goals and gave full concern for the total development of the child in all aspects of learning.
At last, in October, 2010 the school was given a 4-storey 20 classrooms thus demolishing all the existing buildings and makeshift classrooms at Majaas Street. The municipal constructed a 25 makeshift classrooms near Amlac Subdivision where classes was held for the whole SY 2011-2012 while the construction at Majaas is on-going. Before the end of school year, another 1-storey 4 makeshift classroom budgeted by DepEd was constructed to decongest overcrowded classroom.
