There were two action research conducted to test the impact of the two programs under Project QLIC.
A. Use of Digitized Strategic Intervention Materials in learning least mastered skills in Science and its implication on pupils’ retention, academic performance and motivation (2016)
Based on the results of this research, the following can be concluded:
1. The traditional intervention is not so much appealing to the kind of generation of pupils today.
2. The use of modern technology in intervention program helps the new generation to be connected to the lessons. Thus, they perform and
achieve better in studying Science.
3. The Digitized SIM must be implemented not only in Science but also in other subject.
4. Intently, the administration along with the Division office, must give focus on the production and implementation of Digitized SIM that will serve as a tool for intervention program.
B. Teachers and Learners’ Perception towards Utilization of Learning Resource Portal during COVID-19 Pandemic in San Agustin Elementary School (2021)
Based on the result of this study as indicated by the computed mean:
1. The teachers and learners have positive perception on implementation and utilization of the Division Learning Resource Portal during
pandemic in San Agustin Elementary School.
2. Effects of utilizing the Division Learning Resource Portal are highly evident to teachers and pupil-respondents agree that it has a great effect
with their attitudes in studying, teaching, distribution of materials during this pandemic and learning performance in school.
3. The Division Learning Resource portal have child-friendly interface and user-friendly thumbnails and icons for easy downloads.
School GPA showed improvement on the performance of learners across all grade levels. Teachers were able to manifest and practice in their instructions the basic ICT skills they have acquired on the conducted series of ICT capability training.
