In 2016, K-12 Curriculum was implemented by the Former President Benigno "Noynoy" Aquino III. Senior High School is under this curriculum. The Senior High School (SHS) students undertake a standard core subjects and choose from the 4 tracks of specialization: Academic. Technical-Vocational (TVL), Sports, and Arts and Design.
Makati High School - Senior High School offers only three tracks: Academic, Technical-Vocational (TVL), and Arts and Design. Under the Academic Track, the school offers three strands: Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM), Accounting Business Management (ABM), and Humanities and Social Sciences (HUMSS). In Technical Vocational (TVL), Makati High School offers specializations in Cookery, Food and Beverages, Bread and Pastry, Shielded Metal Arc Welding (SMAW), Electrical, and ICT Programming. The third track is Arts and Design. Under this track the school offers specialization in Music, Dance and Visual Arts.

STEM stands for Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics. There are six core subjects and five major subjects that are under Science and Mathematics. The six core subjects are Earth Science, Earth and Life Science, General Mathematics, Statistics and Probability, Physical Science, and Disaster Readiness and Risk Reduction. On the other hand, the five major subjects are Pre-Calculus, Basic Calculus, General Chemistry, General Physics, and General Biology.
