Applicants must belong to the top 10 of the graduating class for school with hundred 100 or less pupils; and upper 10% of the graduating class for schools with more that one hundred 100 graduating pupils. They should present a Certification from the principal that they belong to this group.
Applicants should have no grades lower than 85% in English, Mathematics and Science, 83% in other subject, and NO grade lower than 80% in the First and Second Quarter.

Interview of the applicant, together with the parent/ guardian shall be undertaken to validate the documents submitted and to gauge the possibility of the applicant to succeed in the program.
Administration of High School Occupation and Interest Inventory (HSOII) and aptitude test shall be under the supervision of the Regional Supervisor in-charge of the special program in Science, Technology and Engineering.
