Work samples are learner-produced outputs and performance tasks that showcase achievements across all six (6) Learning Strands of the ALS K to 12 Basic Education Curriculum (BEC). In Zamboanga del Sur ALS, we introduced standardized templates for these work samples, which include lessons and assessments, to provide a consistent framework for evaluating learners’ mastery of specific competencies. These work samples underwent a rigorous quality assurance process and were validated as official Learning Resources (LR), serving both as evidence of learning and as tools for assessing proficiency. The development process involved selected ALS teachers, whose contributions were meticulously reviewed and finalized under the guidance of the LR supervisor, in collaboration with other learning area supervisors.
