Tipas Elementary School Annex started in 1986 as an extension school of Tipas Elementary School Main and was created to serve the school children of Barangay Calzada. It was then known as “Langkokak Elementary School because it is said that the place was formerly an agricultural area inhabited by many frogs. As the years passed by, this agricultural land, which is approximately 6 kilometers from school to the location of C-6 Road is now gradually converted into a thickly populated residential area. This is the reason why there is a significant increase in enrolment every year Migrants from other provinces and Metro Manila suburbs are continuously sprouting in this area.
In June 2002, through the effort of the District Supervisor Mrs. Josefina M. Eustaquio and with assistance from the Municipal School Board, repairs and constructions were done to improve the school facilities. The existing building then was not enough to accommodate all the pupils, so it utilized the Barangay covered court.
In July 2003, the two-classroom building was replaced by a three-storey building to serve the increasing population. In February 2007, the building was completed into a four-storey 12 classroom building Additional teachers were provided to serve the increasing population and Mrs. Joselina B. Cruz was assigned as the first officer-in-charge where the school offering then was only Grades I to IV. It was only in 2004 when Tipas Elementary School Annex had complete elementary education. At present, the school has a new 4-storey building with covered court and 12 more classrooms to serve its growing population.
