With the use of the Increment Table and the Rubrics for Computation of Points, the ETE points are determined by doing the following:

Applicant Apple has 18 units in MA (Level 11) minus CSC-QS (Level 6) = 5 pts increment which is equal to 6 points in the Rubrics for Education; 32 hrs of trainings (Level 5) minus Training not required (Level 1) = 4 pts increment which is = 6 pts and 4 years and 3 months of experience (Level 9) minus Experience not required (Level 1) = 8 pts increment which is equal to 10 points.
Applicant Buko
Applicant Buko has just met the educational qualification standard (Level 6) minus CSC-QS (Level 6) = 0 pt increment for Education; 24 hrs of trainings (Level 4) minus Training not required (Level 1) = 3 pts increment which is = 4 pts and 6 years and 2 months of experience (Level 13) minus Experience not required (Level 1) = 12 pts increment which is equal to 10 points.
