Activity: “A Day in Time” 

Purpose: How can time conversions help us plan, organize, and manage real-life activities accurately?

Objective: Learners are given a real-life scenario where they must plan and manage time across travel, work tasks, and personal activities within one day. 

STORY TIME!

Alex is going on a one-day business trip to another city. To make sure everything goes smoothly, Alex must carefully plan the day and manage time correctly.

In the morning, Alex travels to the city, and the journey takes 2 hours and 45 minutes. Upon arrival, Alex prepares and delivers a 1.5-hour work presentation. Immediately after the presentation, Alex attends a team meeting that runs for 50 minutes.

Later, Alex takes a 0.75-hour lunch break. In the late afternoon, Alex begins the trip back home, and the return journey takes 165 minutes.

To avoid missing appointments and travel connections, Alex needs to understand how all these different time units fit together.
