A New Chapter Begins: STEC Junior Police Transitions into “Barkada Kontra Bisyo”
In alignment with the Department of Education’s nationwide campaign for youth development and wellness, the STEC Junior Police (SHS) organization has officially transitioned into Barkada Kontra Bisyo (BKB) — a student-led initiative that advocates for a healthy and vice-free lifestyle among learners.
BSP is where the classroom ends and the adventure begins. We learn to tie knots, read maps, survive the outdoors, lead a team, and stay ready when things don’t go according to plan. There’s mud, there’s sweat, there’s probably a mosquito or two—but every challenge teaches us something worth carrying beyond the campsite. We don’t just learn how to be prepared; we learn how to step up when it matters.
Where adventure meets leadership and service. We learn practical skills, take on challenges, and discover what we’re capable of beyond the classroom. Through camps, activities, and community projects, we grow stronger together. It’s more than scouting—it’s building confidence, courage, and a heart for service.
The board is set.
The words are waiting.
The challenge begins.
We are the tacticians of strategy, the masters of language, the solvers of puzzles, the innovators of the digital arena, and the competitors who never stop learning.

What if the best argument is the one you haven’t thought of yet? Debate Club challenges students to question ideas, research deeply, and defend their perspectives with confidence. We learn to think on our feet, listen to opposing views, and turn information into compelling arguments. It’s where conversations

The Medical Youth Society puts care into action. We explore health, first aid, wellness, and the skills that can help us respond when someone needs help. It’s a space for students who want to learn how the human body works and how to care for others. Here, knowledge isn’t just learned—it can make a real difference.
SYSTEM UPDATE: MAᖇS JUST GOT AN UPGRADE.
You know us as MaRS—Mathematics, Research, and Science. But every evolving system eventually encounters a new variable—one that changes not its foundation, but the range of what it can become. For us, that variable is Robotics.
SASG is where singing meets dancing—and where sitting still is simply not an option. We sing, we dance, we rehearse the same eight counts until our bodies memorize them, and somehow still find the energy to do it all again. It takes confidence, stamina, teamwork, and the willingness to absolutely own the stage. We may start with one song and one routine, but we leave the stage making sure everyone remembers us.
Siklab is where stories find a body, a voice, and a stage. We live through performance; whether it’s theater, music, dance, spoken word, or the quiet moments that make an audience stop and feel. We play with movement, character, emotion, and expression, turning ideas into something alive in front of us. At Siklab, we don’t just perform a story—we inhabit it, feel it, and leave a little piece of ourselves on the stage.
Start with something surprisingly simple: listening. Before we can sound like one voice, we have to learn when to lead, when to blend, and when to let someone else be heard. We shape every note, breath, and harmony until a collection of voices becomes one piece of music. It’s less about being the loudest voice in the room and more about making the whole room sound beautiful.
